So I'm sitting here during hour 5 of my 8 hour layover in Frankfurt, the flight here went very well. I must say, I am incredibly impressed with the service that Lufthansa provides its passengers. These folks go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that everyone is comfortable and taken care of. There was one guy that got busted for trying to smoke a cigarette in one of the bathrooms, I actually got a few laughs out of it since he tried to outright deny it. Only problem was he was the only person using a restroom on the plane at the time and everyone could smell it. I don't quite know what happened to that guy, if he got in trouble or anything.
My father and I tried to check in to the Sheraton hotel here at the Frankfurt airport, but to no avail. They told us that there weren't any rooms available. So we spent some time walking around the airport, which is HUGE by the way. Everyone here is very cool and for the most part, it's been very easy to find our way around as everyone speaks English. I've managed to learn a few words in German as well.
I don't have any pictures to post yet, I'm too tired to take pictures and I sure don't want any pictures being taken of me at this point in time. I'll update you all once I get to Iran, either sometime today or tomorrow. Until next time, take care of yourselves.
